Abandoning the search for the Next Killer OBJECT that will Impact Earth, causing the Mass Extinction of the large animals, is an act of
colossal fallibility that pales not firing preventive lumo every fifteen minutes over a Mekong Delta base camp in1969, but that was dumb enough!
Without regular illumination, it was only a matter of time before the base would be attacked by a force whose size would be determined only
by how many men the enemy had available and how many men they thought would be needed to over run the base camp, probably by inserting a
suicide force through the wire first, followed by as many in the woods as the imagination can supply! If staying dark was deliberate baiting, one
would think the bunker guards and those in the Tower would have been let in on it! ...At least this is how ordinary ambush philosophy runs...but, if
"Mr. President" thinks making the asteroids think we aren't watching, so they will make a try for us so he can surprise them with his super duper
Star Wars Defense System, assuming he is smarter than frozen gravel, why not? We are reminded of a Second Lieutenant once who thought he
should have the Freedom to smoke a cigar on His Own track Command Seat at ten o'clock at night! After all, it was HIS track! He was dead
two months later charging a wood line full of NVA trying to show his old man who loved the Army more than his son he had the right stuff....
Ego is a horrible thing to stunt, then turn lose on The World with a Weapon of Mass Destruction, like the ability to halt funding for Necessity
and start funding for Lunacy! Write Your Congress Persons! Urge them to Divert Funding BACK to what is Vital and Save Posterity from our
Chronic, Compulsive, Myopic Terror of Impotency! Tempting Nature is Suicidal!

In Broad Conclusion, Getting Mars Terra-Formed and Colonized as Quickly as possible, to place Four and one half Billion years of Evolution
on More Than One Planet is a priority hardly anyone is thinking of as they are killing each other to be King Of The Hill, a
game which will be Moot If There Is No Hill! There is something for everyone, too. Why just Murder each other on,
and Destroy One Planet, when we can be Murdering each other on, and Destroying Two? Or More?!
An Impact before we poison or bake ourselves otherwise WILL END ALL THIS FUN!
What kind of Stewardship is THAT?
